My second son is 16 years old and where we come from, sixteen years old means one can take a licence to ride a bike. So, he was pondering if he should go ahead and ride a bike because he said it is time he goes on his own instead of depending on me to fetch him from place to place.

While chatting, he suggested that I also do the same. I can ride a bike but I do not have a bike licence. So, I cannot ride on the road. I laughed so hard at the suggestion because I never thought of doing it.

But who knows, I may want to venture into this fantastic idea. One day, when I am graying, I may want to own a Harley. Talking about Harley, if you are looking for Harley parts, here’s where you can find them.

Sports Illustrated has been around since 1964. That’s as old as I am. I watched this show on E! today and they featured several supermodels like Christie Brinkley, Cheryl Tiegs and others.

They talked about their lives as supermodels and how it is not just skin deep. They shared about the trials they face, the tremendous pressures and how it got worse when they date or marry celebrities.

All of them talked about the weight issues and how hard it is for them to manage their weight. A few got into trouble with unhealthy dieting and some ended up with stomach problems. I think long before the invention of fat burners, they used to starved themselves and ended up with bulimia and anorexia.

I think all of us go through those cycles when we are extremely productive and then, dip to some mundane lifestyle where things just go from day to day without much excitement. I have the this sort of roller-coaster ride in both my daily life and also my Christian life.

It is much harder when it comes to faith because it is not something that you can reward yourself. Say if you are tired of the boring life we lead everyday, just go out and buy a pair of shoes or cut your hair or something and we will be fine. But when it comes to faith life, one just cannot get up and go.

That’s why I had been watching some inspirational movies recently and also reading up on survivors stories. Maybe if I have a better home theater, I could better enjoy those old movies. Nay…maybe if the room is too cosy with nice home theater carpet, I will be falling asleep in the home theater chairs.

I have not been working very hard lately due to other commitment. A few of my jobs were expired and the money flew away. Not that it matters because it wasn’t much.

However, there are some which I must complete within a certain frame and I almost forget all about it. Lucky, I still have a day to complete them. Otherwise, I can kiss everything goodbye.

Phew….

I better stop staring out of my window, looking into nothingness and get my lazy ass back to work. *sigh*

These two are thoroughbred Italian stuffs. One is the bread that I ate almost every day when I was in Italy. The other is the little scooter that zips around the cobblestone, winding and crooked lanes in Italian. The cities like Florence, Milan, Rome and others have so many scooters.

There is something romantic about Vespa because it is vintage. It is like being transported to the fifties during the heyday of Audrey Hepburn and Greta Gabor. In those days, they used to wear black glasses like Batman, put their hairs in huge bun and tie a scarf on their head while they ride in their Vespa.

The only reason that I am not taking as many photos as I wish is my mobility. How I wish I can just hop on my bike and go to any places that I fancy. Well, I do not have licence to ride a motorbike because I was too faint hearted to ride on our busy road. However, I do know how to ride a bike and have ridden one when I was younger.

I love going to jungles and shoot tiny plants and insects. There are some small forests here which are only accessible by motorbikes. Hubby doesn’t fancy taking me because I normally take a long time shooting the ferns, grass and dew.

One of these days I must get a bike lesson, take the test and have a bike licence. The licence to go anywhere I fancy without waiting for hubby. Cars, as you know is not the best mode because you cannot squeeze into jams and crowded places or going up hilly terrain.

Just a while ago, my server experienced huge traffic spike because everyone is looking for election results. I didn’t do any SEO to my posts but have been posting consistently for the past few days with some useful keywords.
