My sister told me her son is getting married beginning of next year. It is going to be the first wedding in her family and therefore, they are all very excited about it. However, she told me that they are having a change of plans now. Earlier, the couple was supposed to be married in a neighboring country and that means we have to travel there to attend the wedding. However, my brother-in-law now wants his son to be married in their own hometown with all the pomp and pageantry. I suppose that is the right thing to do because it means more relatives attending.

However, if it is my son that is getting married, I will tell him to go as far as he can so that I do not need to invite any relatives or friends. Let’s have some perfect wedding in a faraway place instead. I hate the hassles of sending out invitations, receiving huge party of guests and all the works that needs to be done.

I want to have a wedding like what they offer here at the Spanish mansion with private chapel . I can imagine my sons marrying the girls of their dreams in the little chapel and witness by just a few close friends and relatives. Not everyone can afford to fly all the way to Spain so we are going to have a cosy party, isn’t it?
